Liverpool vs Manchester United, Premier League highlights:Dominique Gakpo, Darwin Nunez, and Mohamed Salah all scored twice as Liverpool thrashed Manchester United 7-0 at Anfield on Sunday to increase their chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League. The victory ended Manchester United's momentum.

A week after a rejuvenated United won the League Cup, their first trophy since 2017, and amid thoughts of a title run, they were destroyed either side of halftime as Liverpool won by their greatest margin ever.

Third-placed Erik ten Hag's team suffered the club's heaviest loss since a 7-0 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1931, yet United had appeared to be slightly the superior team for the first 43 minutes.
